Every one of you can build a career on what you’ve already proven as a college golfer.
Colonial Career Links Co. connects graduating Division I golfers with employers. We help those employers understand what it takes to compete at that level and what college golfers bring to their teams.
College golf develops professional competencies that cannot be replicated in a university classroom.
Of course, college golfers can't look like every student on a résumé.
We compete in our own category.
NARPS (non-athletic regular people) took internships and summer jobs. We trained, traveled, and competed while carrying the full course load of a regular student, all while balancing collegiate golf at the highest level. There are underlying qualities that the average student will never experience. You have them, and employers value them and are looking for them.
A standard LinkedIn profile has no way of demonstrating these attributes.
So I built one that does.
Managing your own development as a student-athlete is exactly the kind of work employers want from a teammate.
We assess results, take responsibility, make decisions, and keep improving — every week, for years. You already know the answer to this.
If you can hold your own in front of your team with an NCAA title on the line, you can definitely hold your own in a boardroom.

Fill it out — or hand it to your intern — and watch your listing build on the right. This is exactly what a D1 golfer sees. The example is Colonial Career Links hiring its first assistant.
